In Derby we recognised the need to create a mechanism that had the potential to recognise every childs achievements by applying a more structured framework with clear outcomes.
Children self assess whilst also working towards achieving clear identifiable ' learning outcomes set out in the focussed verified modules.
13 schools participated in the pilot programme during the last academic year representing all age phases and abilities across Derby City .
Many more schools have either come on board or expressed interest in becoming a part of this initiative indicative of the value placed on showing that all aspects of a child's developing skills, interests and abilities are important and should be acknowledged and celebrated.
